The members involved had all raised safety concerns for many years about the lack of appropriate Clinician numbers and their inability to respond to crew requests including consultations and clinical advice, liaise with hospitals and hospital notifications.

Last week the VAU met with the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission to discuss the recent release of the terms of reference for its Independent Review into discriminatory conduct within AV and other matters arising from the review.
