AV Industrial Action Round 2 – Members Vote Yes!!!
Voting on Protected Industrial Action completed on 4 May. We are pleased to inform members that all 70 actions were voted up. 73.8% of eligible members took part in the vote. 97.5% of members endorsed the new round of action.
This is a very strong result which should send a strong message to Ambulance Victoria (AV) and the Victorian Government that after more than a year of bargaining, the current offer does not come close to improving the working lives of the AV workforce.
The VAU will be notifying additional actions in the coming days. Members will be provided with more details about the new actions before they begin.
The list of actions that are currently in effect is attached and members can continue taking these actions.
