In recent weeks the unions and AV have been able to progress a number of outstanding items in enterprise bargaining in the hope of being able to finalise an agreement for our members. In good faith, the VAU has resisted escalating industrial action further.
However, after 20 months of negotiations, it appears the Government are still procrastinating on finalising an enterprise agreement with Victorian paramedics and ambulance workers. This delay sits with Government not AV.
Therefore, the VAU is collating a list of actions for a third protected action ballot and seeking ideas from members for additional industrial actions you would like to take.
If you have not already nominated the VAU as your bargaining representative you can do so by clicking on the button below. This will also allow members who did not nominate in time for previous ballots to be able to take part in industrial action.
