Casual OT Update

As we have previously advised, at the end of last year Ambulance Victoria accepted that it had been underpaying casual employees’ overtime entitlements. They committed to audit casual overtime payments made to employees since May 2017 and rectify any identified underpayments, and that this process would be completed within six months.

AV has advised the VAU that it is on track to complete the audit and backpay process within the agreed six-month timeframe. We will be seeking a further update in the next few weeks and will update the members then.

If you have notified the VAU that you believe you have been underpaid overtime entitlements, the VAU will also follow up about your individual situation.
