AV Casual Overtime Update

Since our last bulletin on 19 December about the settlement of the casual overtime dispute with AV, the VAU has received an overwhelming response from our members. Many of you have let us know that you have likely been underpaid and have asked us to look in to your situation.

We have recorded the details of everyone who has come forward and will be liaising with AV to ensure that the audit is completed within the promised timeframe, and that each member’s claim is assessed. We will continue to update you via bulletins as the audit progresses.

If you are or were a casual employee after May 2017 and believe you were underpaid overtime entitlements, and you have not contacted us yet, please notify the VAU at [email protected] so we can follow up with AV on your behalf.
