Some incorrect information has been sent out from AV regarding the new Fatigue Management policy and procedure.

The new policy includes cap of 70 hours per month on full shift overtime for permanent employees (above and beyond your normal rostered hours).

The cap does not apply to casual working hours.

Members have been incorrectly told that their casual working hours will be reduced to 70 per month. We have taken this up with workplace relations this morning and the issue is being corrected today.

If AV have cancelled casual shifts, you should request to have those hours returned to you and if you have any issues with this you should lodge a grievance or contact the VAU.
