Health Select employees vote YES to EBA.
The Victorian Ambulance Union Incorporated (VAU) would like to congratulate Health Select (HS) members on a resounding ‘YES’ vote to the proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA). An application for approval now needs to be lodged with the Fair Work Commission within 14 days.
The Vote
Voting for the Health Select and Employees Enterprise Agreement 2021 closed Thursday, September 30 at 1700.
Of approximately 170 eligible employees:

131 employees voted in total

128 voted yes (97.71%)

3 voted no (2.29%)
There are many improvements in this EA and while further improvements are still necessary in future rounds of bargaining, the VAU welcomes the progress achieved. We thank all the VAU members for their ongoing support and patience with the bargaining process, and participation in being strong advocates for a fair EA for all their colleagues.
