MICA Pay Progression Post Panel

Recently the Victorian Ambulance Union Incorporated (VAU) received a pay query from several MICA members who have successfully completed their MICA panel yet remained paid at the Student MICA Paramedic (SMP) rate of pay for several months.

Once MICA panel is completed, members need to begin progressing through the MICA paramedic rates of pay (MICA year 1).

This matter has been resolved and members who have incorrectly remained at the SMP rate of pay after completing panel will progress to the MICA year 1 rate from that date and will be back-paid from that point.
