VAU/Swinburne/RMIT Study into Ambulance Workforce Wellbeing Follow-up Survey – SURVEY CONCLUDED
The Victoria Ambulance Union Incorporated (VAU) has been participating in an ongoing collaborative research project with Swinburne and RMIT Universities to examine the key issues that concern paramedics and ambulance workers in their working lives.
The response to the previous surveys was excellent, providing a detailed and personal perspective on workplace pressures, culture and experiences. But there are still approximately 250 half-completed or abandoned surveys that still need to be fully completed. We urge any member who has not yet completed their survey to login and complete all the questions. This is essential for providing a broad comparative analysis of member experiences. You can simply pick up where you left off.
When all data has been collected and analysis is complete it will be split into three volumes. The first two volumes can be accessed from the Resources section in the website.
The data collected can be used on your behalf to constructively advocate directly with your employers to address systemic structures, processes and destructive paradigms at your workplace which contribute to negative workplace culture.
