As members may know, the Victorian Ambulance Union Incorporated (VAU) has been in the process of drafting a log of claims on behalf of members who work at St John Ambulance Victoria (St John) with a view to commencing bargaining for a new enterprise agreement.

In relation to the log of claims, the VAU are pleased to inform members that we have now finished a draft log of claims. This log of claims has been drafted to be reflective of a survey completed by members in March 2021, additional feedback received from members since the survey and the VAU’s knowledge of the Ambulance Industry.

A copy of the draft log of claims is attached to the top of the page.

VAU seeks member’s feedback

As the log of claims are a list of improvements that the VAU will be seeking to include in a future agreement, it is important that members review the document carefully. In relation to this, we are providing members one last opportunity to provide feedback.

If you would like to provide feedback or have any comments or suggestions on any of the proposed claims or identify additional claims that should be inserted in the log of claims, could you please contact Bruce Fine or Kerry Mclean on:

  1. Bruce Fine: 0480 194 711 [email protected]
  2. Kerry McLean: 0480 194 783 [email protected]

If you do intend to provide feedback could you please do so by COB, Monday 9 August 2021. Following this, the VAU will finalise the log of claims and then write to St John to recommence bargaining.

In solidarity,
